January Reads
13 picked up, 6 finished. See what I read in January!
An interesting month for reading, that’s for sure. Focus is tough right now!
So, if you are struggling with reading, remember that it is normal. Where you are now is okay.
Here’s where I am:
Too many books going
Bored easily
Forgetful and then frustrated (in terms of characters, plots) - probably due to lack of focus
Too tired to read for long periods of time without falling asleep
Wanting to immerse myself in books, but also just wanting to consume…which leads to doing neither
Where are you right now? I’d love to hear. You can comment, join our community chat, or message!
Calendar of Reading
I love looking at this calendar to see myself bounce around books. I tried to record my reading more often…so it’s fairly accurate.

What I Learned
Magic is my current jam-take me away!
A good side character carries a book more than the MC.
Emotional reads are necessary, even when I am feeling a lot of emotions myself.
All formats of reading are necessary-audio, print, or ebook. I am not picky and need to lean into what is working at the time.
It’s okay if it takes me awhile to finish a book. Time does not matter.
