If I can convince you of anything… you should read Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter. It had me swooning so hard and now I want to watch all my favorite rom-coms-especially Pretty in Pink.

I might even write some fan fiction with Ducky winning the girl in the end, because we all know that ending was NOT OKAY!

Writing Life

My writing life is struggling…I have a strong lack of energy that is standing in my way. However, I am working on a new idea and even bought a new notebook AND I have been reading as a writer and talking with others about writing in my Read to Write Kidlit book club and podcast.

You can find us here! We will be reading Jasmine Warga’s A Rover’s Story in June an I am excited for a novel with science themes.
