Sometimes you know a book will be a great one the moment you open it. This is one of those books. There are so many reasons why I rave about this book. For one, it is the format of the book. The short, but descriptive chapters, the poetry, the letters between friends. But, it is also the stories and topics that Lockington weaves together. She covers some really hard topics (mental illness, adoption, racism, family, friends) and she does it all with hope and beauty.
