This book broke my heart and had me both rooting for Sam and wanting to shake him! Such a powerful book on grief and new beginnings.
Jason Reynolds’ powerful words combined with these illustrations took this book to a whole other level! I do recommend this to my older and more mature readers, but the message is strong and important.
