Picture Book Frenzy: No Fuzzball! By Isabella Kung
Thank you Scholastic and Isabella Kung for sharing this book with me and the Lit Review Crew!
I am a cat person, all the way. (I am not a dog person...shhh...don't tell!) This book was laugh out loud hilarious and adorable. One thing I really liked was that the book was told through Fuzzball's perspective and the whole time she is talking, you can see her "humans" doing something. They are packing for a vacation! This would be great to use with students for inferences and making predictions.
Here is a summary of No Fuzzball! and a link to purchase.
A hilarious new story from debut picture book artist Isabella Kung.
Fuzzball is Queen of the house. Her subjects just LOVE how she scales the tallest shelves and drags their belongings across the floor. Hear how they shout her name everywhere she goes ... "NOFUZZBALL!" But when they leave her queendom for the weekend, she questions whether she should be a more benevolent ruler.
Fans of funny, lovable characters like Aaron Blabey's Pig the Pug, Mo Willems's Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, and David Shannon's No, David! will fall in love with this furry, feline despot.
