Fourteenth Goldfish vs El Deafo in the Sweet Sixteen!

I read this book because it was a finalist for the Sweet Sixteen in our March Book Madness that is going on in my class. I went in reading this book without reading anything about it, and I'm glad I did. Sometimes it is nice to not know what a book is about until you really get into it.

I gave this book 5 stars because I loved the writing style and I loved the plot. The book is promoting science jobs and education and I love it. More kids need to see what they can do as a scientist. It is also a great book showing the struggles that most students face in middle school and that we do make it out alive and well. Usually better than well, we become one step closer to who we will be as adults.
