It's Monday! What are you reading?
It's been awhile since I've posted a IMWAYR post! My reading life has gotten a lot better. I am finding my rhythm with school and life and overall loving the books I am picking up! I am doing NanoWriMo, so my focus will be on writing-but we all know reading will still happen!
Here are some books I have finished and books I have in my option pile this week!

Captain Bun Super Bonbon: A Graphix Chapters Book by Jess Keating
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Jess Keating's Bunbun and Bonbon series are a staple in our house. I love these fun characters, the illustrations, and the messages of friendship in each book. These are great to read as a family and also for emerging readers to read on their own!

Lux: The New Girl #1 by Ashley Woodfolk
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really liked this book because it was shorter, had a lot of characters and a lot going on, but was all really done well and manageable for the reader. I think reading the rest of the series would be a lot of fun to get to see into each of the Flyy Girls! There is some mature content, so definitely a junior high and up read.

At The End of Everything by Marieke Nijkamp
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I could not put this book down! If you can handle a pandemic book that feels eerily like today's, then read this! I loved the multiple perspectives, the heart that was at the center of it all, and the characters. It was beautifully done and I can't wait to read more by this author.
