It is also the start of a new month. Here is how I wrapped up April and welcomed warm May!

Books I Finished

Both of the books I finished last week were for my Lit Review Crew. Trainsurfer was enjoyable-I liked the overall concept, it was lacking character development and tension. Harbor Me was five star read for me. I love Jacqueline Woodson because she can make a story come to life and give me all of the feelings. I felt so much in this book and will be sharing with my students.

Option Pile

Resistance and Okay for Now are both audiobooks. I am almost finished with Resistance and just started Okay for Now.

Far from Agrabah is a Net Galley read by Aisha Saeed. I am really excited to get a glimpse of her new book!

Devil Dinosaur is Vol 2 and this is my nightly read with my daughter. We are enjoying Lunella’s sassy attitude and independence.

Storm Blown is my Lit Review Crew read. I am halfway through and should finish in the next couple of days.

Writing

I am really wanting to focus on my writing and make it more of an enjoyable habit. I have a habit tracker in my journal going and some great ideas to keep myself going.

My focus right now is to write a story for each of my classes as their going away gift for the end of the year. I am really excited and hope I do it well!
