Warrior Girl Unearthed by Angeline Boulley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is a book that will leave you with just enough knowledge to want to learn more. About boarding schools for indigenous people. About Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. About Tribal laws. About returning native artifacts to their rightful place.
I loved this book and how Angeline Boulley intertwines typical teenage life with a thrilling adventure. Also, watching Perry transform was powerful.

What I loved:
-dual pov
-period talk
-fierce woman MC
-snarky and sometimes dirty banter
What I didn’t love:
-the ending…
-predictable at times

Option Pile
I have 3 things I need to read this week:
Priority 1: A manuscript for a writing partner. I need to provide feedback by Saturday on her middle grade novel.
Priority 2: Unpregnant which is part of my Banned Book Club on Fable (message me if you want to join!)
Priority 3: The Probability of Everything is part of another writing group and the other two have read it and I should probably finish soon. (or at least start)
