I am on the Cybils Award committee for Young Adult Speculative Fiction and the list of books…is at 90. NINETY. And they all look so good. So, these next two months will be devoted to reading those books, with a couple new releases I am dying to read thrown in.

I am ready for a long break to cuddle with my cats. :(

Writing

I really thought November would be good for me…I thought I would try Nano…my writing groups on Discord are blowing up and I am just muting those conversations. I think right now, my focus is reading. HOWEVER, my daughter keeps reminding me to write and I will at least journal or write a poem as often as I can. It may not be for my novel in verse…but it’s writing and it makes me happy. And that’s what it’s all about right?

Thanks for not leaving me. I’ll try to stay around more consistently, but no promises.
