Young Adult Novel: The Disappearance of Sloane Sullivan by Gia Cribbs

This was a great YA thriller that can be enjoyed by teens and adults alike. I really liked the basic storyline and the character development. I find that some thrillers are too predictable, but this one was not. I was kept guessing and there were nicely place plot twists throughout the story. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the ending. I felt I had too many unanswered questions, that could be answered, and that the middle was too drawn out. Overall, I enjoyed this read and will recommend to others.

Note: I would recommend this book for grades 8 and above.
