Book Review: Diwali In My New Home by Shachi Kaushik and Aishwarya Tandon

Shachi's debut picture book, Diwali In My New Home, is a beautiful story of celebrating Diwali away from home. Priya, a young girl, is sad that her new neighborhood doesn't celebrate Diwali. But, as she and her family begin their traditions, the neighbors notice and join in. I loved the sense of community and celebration in this story! A must read.
