Countdown to 2026
(I knew I should have written these posts ahead of time and scheduled! Oh well.)
Here’s a short post showing you my journals and planners for this year!
Productivity Planner
As mentioned previously, I discovered Hobonichi and decided to go for a Weeks this year!
Why?
I want it to go with me everywhere. I want it to be there to keep me on track with habits as well as appointments. I also want a space for me to record random thoughts, doodles, quotes. Whatever!
There weren’t many options for covers when I ordered, but I do love these cat drawings!

I added tabs for the months to help me flip through, which I’ve never done before. I also purchased a clear cover and it has POCKETS.
Journal
Because I became obsessed with Hobonichi, I also went with this brand for my journal! The pages are just so satisfying to write on, I can’t explain it. I hope to capture my daily life, use it as a sort-of junk journal or scrapbook, and capture my reading life. It also fits beautifully into my Erin Condren folio.
Reading Journal
One thing I missed the past couple of years was a dedicated reading journal. I have tried different ways of recording my reading life, but nothing stuck like my original bullet journal did a few years ago.
So, I did some reflecting and landed on a guided reading journal. This will be a reading log, but reviews only for favorites or memorable reads. I am letting go the pressure of writing a lot about every book I read. I am still figuring out my reading life as I believe I am in a transition to a new “era” and a guided notebook feels less stressful!
This journal is so gothic and witchy and I love it. The pages are thick and smell wonderful (iykyk). PLEASE check out these pictures! The brand is ConQuest Journals-they have a lot of cute stuff too, so check out their website.

Goals for Journaling
100 days of notebooking (Michelle Haseltine and https://notebookingthatmatters.com/about-100-days) There’s also a Facebook group I am part of that I hope to interact more with (and maybe help make Facebook a more filling place).
Make it a habit, but not necessarily daily. Set aside time each weekend to get caught up.
Back-journaling is okay.
Imperfection is welcome. It’s okay if I mess up a page.

That reading log is gorgeous!
